Public IP lookups

When you open the public IP page, your browser sends network check requests directly. Services receiving those requests can see the connection's public exit IP and connection information normally sent by the browser. Results may reflect different network exits.

Local records and preferences

A manual language change saves your preference in browser local storage. The last successful IP check is saved locally by default. If you select “Record IP changes,” a starting record and changed results are kept, up to 30 records in total; unchanged checks only update the latest check. Each record contains distinct public IP addresses, available country, region, city, and ISP or network organization. Failed and timed-out requests, browser information, and detailed network fields are not stored in IP history. You can turn off change recording, delete entries or clear all records. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes them. Records are not sent to this site’s server.

Analytics

On the production site, Google Analytics 4 loads when a page opens and measures page views, including navigation between pages. The browser sends page URLs and standard connection information to Google; Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. We do not add events that send IP lookup results, diagnostic text or copy actions to Analytics.

Copying is your choice

The site writes text to the clipboard only when you activate a copy button. Diagnostic text may contain IP addresses, lookup results, detection status and browser information. Copying does not automatically send that diagnostic text to this site or another service. Review it before pasting it into email or another platform.
